About Dews Foundry Dews Foundry was established in 1914 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi as a gray iron jobbing foundry, mainly to supply the timber industry. Since 1941, our foundry has expanded it's casting capabilities to all types of industrial needs, from one-of-a-kind replacement to production needs. Our castings now include gray iron and high chrome iron. All castings are produced from chemically bonded sand molds. Castings can be furnished as rough cast, rough machined, fully machined, heat treated, painted and shipped direct to our customers. A three million-dollar expansion completed in 1995, enables us to manufacture the highest quality of parts using the latest in foundry technology. Our castings range from 10 lbs. to 3000 lbs. At Dews Foundry, you can be assured your casting needs will receive four generations of personal attention from our family owned and operated foundry, machine shop and steel fabrication facilities.
